
During April of the 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine dispatched approximately 5.2 million tonnes of cereals and oilseeds.
This information was shared by the Ukrainian Grain Association via Facebook.
As per the analysts’ findings, the volume of exports saw a 39% surge when compared to April of the preceding year, during which 3.73 million tonnes were exported.
Shipments of corn to international destinations in April experienced a 1.5-fold increase, reaching a total of 2.73 million tonnes.
Exports of wheat saw a 75% rise, amounting to 1.33 million tonnes, while barley exports grew by 28%, totaling 60 thousand tonnes.
Conversely, the export of oilseeds saw a downturn in April relative to the same period last year. Specifically, soybean exports diminished by 47%, falling to 162 thousand tonnes, and rapeseed exports experienced a fourfold decrease, dropping to 20 thousand tonnes.
In total, 435 thousand tonnes of sunflower oil were delivered to overseas markets, representing a 4% improvement over the figures recorded in April of the prior year.
